If you are in a serious relationship and want to regularize your situation in the United Kingdom, a Civil Partnership might be the path you haven't yet considered.

A Civil Partnership is the formal recognition of your relationship under British law. It grants the same residency rights as a marriage visa, but very few Brazilians know it exists.
To obtain a Civil Partnership visa, the process begins with documenting the relationship. You will need to prove how long you have been together, how the relationship has developed, and that the union is genuine. This includes photos, conversations, proof of trips together, records of shared housing, and any other evidence that shows the relationship is real.
Those still in Brazil apply at the British Consulate, submitting all documentation of the relationship along with the visa requirements. Those already in the United Kingdom can apply directly through the Home Office.
The requirements are the same as for the Spouse Visa: the sponsor must meet the minimum financial requirement of £29,000 per year, provide proof of adequate accommodation for both of them, and the applicant must meet the English language requirement.
After approval, the visa is initially granted for 30 months. At the end of this period, you renew it for another 30 months and, after a total of 5 years, you can apply for ILR, permanent residency.
It's a real, legal, and proven approach. If you have any questions or want to understand if this is the right path for you, contact our team and schedule a consultation.
