STUDENT VISA - PT

Requirements:

  • Proof of enrollment: for the course, not an application.

  • Financial proof: consider the cost of the course, accommodation, personal expenses, and provide proof through contracts, official government documents, documents from the responsible parties, or from the applicant themselves.

  • Proof of accommodation: reservations made by the applicant or their legal guardians during the course period.

  • Family support: applicable to spouses and minor children.

Remote Worker/Digital Nomad Visa - PT

Requirements:

  • Proof of accommodation: minimum of 1 year, namely own property in Portugal or long-term lease agreement (1 year) or invitation letter signed by a host residing in Portugal.

  • Proof of average monthly income for the last three months, amounting to 4 times the minimum wage (approximately 3,300 EUR - three thousand euros) / month, to be proven through pay stubs or employment contracts.

  • Minimum balance: 9,100 EUR (nine thousand euros), in a Portuguese Financial Institution, for the first visa applicant. Considering the family, add 50% of the amount for the spouse and 30% of the amount for each child.

  • In the case of subordinate work: submit an employment contract; a statement from the employer proving the employment relationship. In the case of independent professional activity: submit a partnership agreement or a service contract or a document proving services rendered to one or more entities.

  • Proof that the work can be performed remotely: through the employment contract, a statement from the employer, etc.

Retirement Visa/Passive Income - PT

Requirements:

  • Proof of accommodation: minimum of 1 year, namely own property in Portugal or long-term lease agreement (1 year) or invitation letter signed by a host residing in Portugal.

  • Proof of average monthly and future income: 820 EUR (eight hundred and twenty euros) / month, to be proven through contracts or official government documents.

  • Minimum balance: 9,100 EUR (nine thousand euros), in a Portuguese Financial Institution, for the first visa applicant.

  • Considering the family, 50% of the amount is added for the spouse and 30% of the amount for each child.

FAMILY ACCOMPANY VISA - PT

Requirements:

  • Documentary proof of kinship: certificates and financial dependence.

  • Proof of financial resources: in accordance with the calculation already presented for each visa.

  • There are age limits for acceptance: young people up to 24 years old and seniors 65 years or older.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR VISAS:

  • Health insurance: Brazil allows Certificate of Entitlement to Medical Assistance (CDAM).

  • Proof of legal residence in the country where you are applying for the visa.

  • Criminal record certificate from the country of residence.

  • A passport valid for the duration of your stay in the country.

  • Special authorizations are required for minors.
